He honed his artistic skills at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, a city that has long been a cradle for artistic talent. Ricci's oeuvre is characterized by its vivid portrayal of everyday life and intimate moments, capturing the essence of 19th-century Italian society with a delicate touch and keen observation. His paintings, such as 'L'Applauso', 'La Confidente', and 'Una visita agli sposini', reflect a deep understanding of human interactions and the subtleties of social customs.
