About the Artist

Bernard Meninsky
British (1891–1950)
was born in Ukraine and moved to Liverpool, England, as an infant. He studied at the Liverpool School of Art and furthered his education at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Meninsky was known for his figure and landscape paintings, as well as his exceptional skills in drawing. His works are characterized by delicate brushwork and a keen sense of form, and have been exhibited in major British art institutions.
